I’m struggling how to express how I feel about this. On one hand I believe the animation and subject matter are amazing and warrant all the critical acclaim its received. But at the same time, in my opinion, making this an animated feature was a huge mistake. For a film that is dialog centric, animation detracts from the film and hinders the audience from truly experiencing the emotional and psychological effect the massacre has on its main characters. Shot like a normal film this movie might have reached a greater audience and achieved even greater critical acclaim.
One of the biggest benefits of dieting is my new found outlook on food. No longer do I decide on a meal by how much money I have in my pocket or how fast I can get it. Gone are the days of walking into a McDonald’s and ordering a value meal without first questioning how that food was produced and what effect it will have on my body.
While looking up Food, Inc., a documentary on the food industry I came across this video showing one fast food chain being socially responsible while maintaining a high degree of yumminess. Enjoy.
I played with imeem for a few hours and concluded it’s nothing more than MySpace 2.0. Same horrible IA (information architecture), design and music/social hook. It amazes me how much people are willing to put up with for free shit.
Kelly and Jarrod threw their annual 4th of July BBQ and the food was crazy good. All the exercise and dieting progress I made the week earlier was completely undone.
1 Pork kebab
3 Vegetable kebab
1 Cheeseburger
1 Corn on the cobb sprinkled with butter pepper and parmesan cheese
I’ve been playing Ninja Gaiden 2 (one of the hardest video games ever created) and come to the conclusion that I’m really sick. Video games are suppose to be a fun form of stress relief not a rip your hair out frustration fest.
That said, I spent all day getting my ass kicked by Ninja Gaiden 2 and loved every minute of it . The game is quite possibly the hardest game I’ve ever played. Sure the Japanese are notorious for creating difficult games but this takes the cake.
A solid historical thriller from Bryan Singer that got a ton of negative press. How could a film about killing Hitler get bad press? Blame it on Scientology.
I was blown away when I found out my friend is the culinary / creative force behind the Fancy Fast Food blog. A blog devoted to the extreme makeover of actual fast food items purchased at popular fast food restaurants.
