Blindness

I've been reading the book for the past year and constantly find myself being distracted or completely disinterested. For the longest I couldn't figure out why until I saw the movie and realized how sad, depressing and totally predictable the story is.
Enchanted

I had a bad case of the Sunday night blues and decided to watch something cheerful. Enchanted was the perfect movie to distract me. Highly recommended.
Seperate Checks
Normally I wouldn't raise an eyebrow about the check but it was a birthday party and instead of paying our own individual bills we split it evenly between eight. Not having partaken in the appetizers or over priced pitchers of margaritas my meal should have cost me $24. Instead I got fucked out of $45.
I swear the collective dinner check is the Ponzi scheme of dining. If not that then all Churasceria's. Who can eat that much meat?
Protected: Abandon Ship
JCVD

When I first heard about this movie I didn't know what to think. I'd heard many comparisons to Being John Malkovich but with action.
Now that I've seen the film hearing that comparison is infuriating. Sure Jean Claude plays himself but that is where the similarities end. JCVD is a bungled bank heist film with all the quirkiness you've come to expect from a French film.
Normally that would be the end of my "review" but Jean Claude turns in an amazing performance that is moving and pure acting genius.
Sukiyaki Western Django

More fun to say than watch the movie is a bizarre blend of Japanese samurai and spaghetti western movie genres with a hint of Shakespeare. I say skip it and rent Ran + The Good the Bad and the Ugly.
