All I wanted was an answer and after weeks of avoiding my questions she finally gave me that satisfying sense of finality. “I just got out of a relationship in January so I can’t give you what you want” isn’t what I wanted to hear but I finally knew she wasn’t interested.
The thought of dating someone seriously is difficult for me but after five dates I couldn’t help but open up and allow myself to have feelings for her. Sadly her oblivious nature and desire for platonic friendship mislead me into thinking she wanted something more. Then again we choose to see what we want and I wanted her.
