It seems $20 worth of McDonald’s cheeseburgers was not enough to help me win the costume contest.  On the flip side it did make me very popular with hungry drunk people.

Like an animal marking her territory, Maki left her jewelry at my apartment the other night.  Realizing this was a serious issue I volunteered to return her stuff immediately.  Oddly enough my not so selfless act got me a free meal.  Yay for me!

I received an email from Kazumi this morning that offended me on many levels.  Short of calling me a serf she claimed that I was uneducated and lacking class.  Growing up I had to deal with people that would judge me based on where I was raised (South Bronx) and it vexed me.  Mostly because its ignorant and totally unfounded. Especially when you consider that I have a better education and over come more adversity than most.

Lacking any patience for ignorant people I decided to cut her off for good.  Good bye.

To say this film is bad would be the understatement of the year.  What bothered me most was being subjected to Charlie Kaufman’s insecurities about his writing, life, death and fatherhood. It should be noted that Kaufman is known to be protective of his private life so perhaps this film was more therapy than film experiment.

I just got in from Annie’s Halloween Bash and I had a good time. It was really cool to see people’s inner child light up when they saw my costume. Sure I got a few shitty looks but those people are walking zombies.

I had a date after work with another girl I met on Match.  When she walked in I was a bit surprised considering she looked like her picture but not really.  The whole night I was a bit confused but decided to blame my awful memory and the booze for warping my senses.

Half way through the date I considered calling it a night since she was a boring.  That was until the topic of Halloween costumes came up.  Considering it was still early we headed over to Ricky’s to pick something out for her and as we walked down the aisles her decision in costumes became sluttier and sluttier.  Amazing how my impulse to never see her again suddenly changed.  I think we will be having drinks next week.

Billed as a survival horror game inspired by famous horror and action/sci-fi films, Deep Space looked too amazing to pass up.

The theromstat had been falling fast all week and I had yet to feel any heat rise from the radiators in my apartment. Not sure when it would kick in, I was forced to take matters into my own hands and hang thermal curtains. A few knicks and cuts on my hands later and voilà, I started to feel warm and cozy.

Tonight Kazumi invited me to dinner at Resto.  We ate at the bar and seriously discussed the possibility of dating.  I must be crazy to think this is going to work.  The best part of the night was when she picked up the bill.
