Two nights ago I picked up this gorgeous woman at the InStyle magazine party and spent the better half of my Friday flirting with her via txt and email. Everything was going perfectly smooth till she asked to be my friend on Facebook. Normally this wouldn’t have been a problem had I remembered she told me how much she hated “players.” All of a sudden my phone went dead and my inbox empty. What happened?
In all likelihood she logged in and began to look through my profile when she stumbled across all my pictures. Which of course are littered with random women hugging and kissing me. Now of course these women are not random, in fact they are my close friends / coworkers. But to a stranger they may give the impression I’m some douche bag womanizer.
Long story short, I never heard back from her and will probably spend most of my day tinkering with those privacy setting so as to avoid repeating my rookie mistake.
I should have been happy but I couldn’t help but feel sad that our plans to visit Argentina in November were kaput. As well as visiting Japan with Mihoko. Thankfully the DTAS crew were putting together a trip to Mexico in November. Lets hope this actually materializes.
A week ago my white shades and Al’s need for shoes landed us free tickets to see Estelle perform live at the InStyle magazine party. Imagine my excitement when we walked in and were reminded that InStyle is a woman’s magazine. Al and I were two out of a handful of men invited to a 500+ party attended predominately by beautiful women.
A few cocktails and some great tunes later I walked up to the hottest woman and worked my magic. We talked for a while before exchanging numbers. I ROCK!!!!
I skipped it when it was out in the theaters believing it would be awful and now that I’ve finally seen it I can say it was a pretty good popcorn movie. It could have been better had they gotten real actors. Maybe I’m just being an asshole but they all looked like rejects from the Broadway musical, RENT.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Admiration, anger, cowardice, and meekness can be seen all over his face. In every scene, Casey Affleck portrays Robert Ford with a certain level of skill and subtlety most veteran actors could only hope to to achieve.
Oh yeah, before I forget the movie’s great to boot.

Fucking rocked. As can bee seen by the picture above. For more info on the show and some sick photos click here.
