Saying the city was dead would be putting it lightly. Determined to have fun we decided to hit the beer garden. The scene was lively but the women were not my type until these two knockouts walked in. Bored and feeling a bit masochistic I decided to pick them up.
Now I know I’m no Brad Pitt but at the same time I am not a troll protecting a bridge. That being said I knew I was out of my league but confident I wouldn’t get shot down right away. All I needed to do was make them laugh and win them over with my charm. Thirty minutes later (which is thirty minutes longer than most people would have given me) I got up and left. I put my best foot forward and felt amazing. Now lets see if they call.
Adding your friends top score at the end of every match is a brilliant game design decision that motivates you to keep playing. I easily lost five hours trying to beat Paul’s high score tonight.
The new game modes give a simple game concept “legs.”
Overall GWE2 feels more like an evolution (via small tweaks) on an already amazing gaming experience.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The best of the series and flat out amazing.
I’ve been run around for the past two weeks and decided to go straight home after work and make it an old school Blockbuster night.
Smart People
The dialog was sharp but the story kind of meanders. I felt like the director was trying to fill the movie with all the quirky characters and situations you would expect to find in an indie flick. The problem is those movies are genuine. Best part of the movie is Ellen Page, so HOT!
Batman Gotham Knight
Along with a love for horror movies I have a soft spot for anime. I heard they released an Animatrix-esqe film along with the Dark Knight film. So you could imagine my excitement when I saw it on the store shelf.
The six animated shorts were all filled with style but only three had decent story lines.
- In Darkness Dwells (amazing action)
- Working Through Pain (great plot line)
- Deadhshot (best animation)
Theresa calling my date a Bond girl was a stretch but I couldn’t help but laugh at the similarities. She’s tall, exotic (she looks Asian) and only speaks Russian.
When I picked her up Saturday night I never thought i would see her again. I figured the language barrier would be too much for her to bear but when I saw her walk through the door I quickly remembered that we’re humans and the power of genuine sexual attraction is enough reason to meet for dinner. Thankfully Sayana is patient and eager to learn English.
Today I attended a Baptism for someone very small and close to my heart. I felt honored to be part of this special occasion.
Add another private to God’s army. :p

Was it fear, regret or total confusion starting back at me. Her eyes, a deep black not unlike those found on a doll were one of her best and regrettably worst features. One minute they could be filled with life and in a blink go cold. On occasion those lifeless eyes would peer at me over dinner, while having sex or during an argument and all I could do was wonder, is she real?
I sat listening to her tell me why we wouldn’t work as a couple when, out of nowhere, her hand shot up and caught me on the right side of the face. My body went limp as my brain tried to process what had just happened. Then snap! Anger surged through me as my body tensed. All the non-verbal cues commonly associated with an apology washed over her face but it was those dead eyes that sealed her fate.
