I woke up dreading the idea of using the showers at the camp site but knew I smelled god awful. Faced with the grim reality of showering in a stall that looked and smelled more like a latrine I decided to take a dip in the river and spray myself with Off bug spray to cloak any offending body odor. In retrospect I’m not sure that was such a good idea, considering Off smells awful.
Being true children of convenience we decided to hit a diner for breakfast before breaking down the camp site and heading home.
The Dark Knight
In the evening Kelly invited us to see the Dark Knight. I found the movie lacking a cohesive plot, bloated, poorly edited and above all boring. I know many people love this movie and will give me shit but I call them like I see them.
Schools really need to start teaching film appreciation courses since the movie going public lacks the ability to distinguish between good film making and pure spectacle.
