Welcome Back Steve / Happy Birthday, Paul
When I finally got home in the early afternoon I took a short nap before meeting up with Mike and George. We went to Down the Hatch for some road sodas and buffalo wings. I quickly realized why that place has remained open for all these years. Cute drunk girls! They stumble in alone and get carried out by strange men.
At around ten o'clock I met up with Al, Pab, Paul and Steve at Rapture.
Just Not Ready
The people sitting in the restaurant next to us kept giving me the shit eye. It made an already uncomfortable situation worse but that was the least of my concerns. Angela sat across from me, tears dripping down her cheeks, struggling to keep it together. After two months of seeing one another she came to terms with the fact that we had no future together.
It wasn't that she was lacking the qualities I look for. In fact she had many of the qualities that make my heart skip a beat. But the truth is I'm not ready for anything serious.
As I walked her to the train I couldn't help but feel like an asshole. I never meant to hurt her and warned her from the start that I was not ready for anything serious. We kissed and promised to remain friends.
Ready To Tanqueray?
Tonight I attended the Tanqueray Style Session. I love Tanqueray and Tanqueray loves me.
A Mark Ecko fashion show, hot models and an amazing DJ were some of the highlights.
PS Tony Sinclaire rulezzzz!!!!

Slept Most of the Day
I got home at 11:45 am and passed out on my couch. When I awoke I checked my mail and saw a message from Al containing an MP3 of Night After Night by The Sounds. It was touching and made me realize how hard it is to get over Sandy and how lucky I am to have Al as a friend.
The Perfect BBQ starring Mommy Burger
Kelly invited me to a BBQ on the roof of her luxury apartment building in LIC. I brought along Al, Paul and Christine (a new friend I made on Match.com).
A mommy burger, grilled corn, great company, coco rum and a few games of Rock Band made it the perfect Sunday BBQ. Afterwards we hit Vig Bar and the rest is history.
St. Martin – Day Two
My hardest choice was picking what to eat for dinner. We went to a small restaurant that was empty but highly recommended by the concierge. The food was amazing and the chef was also our waiter. I felt like one of those rich people you read about in magazines.
