The city was dead tonight but I was still able to have fun. It wasn’t the typical, go out and “sarge” women kind of night but I think that had a lot to do with President’s Day weekend.
After work a few of us hit Bulls Head Tavern. The first round went down smooth and I would have stayed for another but I really wanted to see Abigail, Pab’s newborn daughter. I looked at my watch and realized that it was already 7:45 so I jumped in a cab and headed uptown.
I decided to call GG, one of the girls I picked up last night at the Anti V-Day party. She had sent me a txt at four in the morning so I knew she was feeling me. My gut reaction was to reply right away but I opted to call her back later. I figured this cab ride uptown was the perfect time to call. Ten minutes later I had a date for next Saturday and five minutes to get up to the maternity ward.
Contrary to popular belief I love children. Sure they can be annoying and smelly but Abigail was neither. She was small, cute and had these little feet that were begging to be dunked in barbeque sauce and eaten like a McDonalds Chicken McNugget. Perhaps, next time when no one’s looking.
Once visiting hours were over I bolted back uptown to shower, change and eat. I was back in the city for Annie’s birthday party at Ginger Man around eleven. I’d never been and it was really nice. It defiantly has a lot of potential. And by potential I mean tons of drunk girls, yummy.
